MÉLIDA PINILLA (CEO COMPANY)
Was born on October 4, 1984, in El Guayabo, Venezuela, and grew up in Maracaibo. From a young age, she demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, excelling as class president and a teacher’s assistant. She studied accounting at Dr. Jesús Enrique Lossada High School, which sparked her interest in the financial field. She began her career as an intern at Banco Occidental de Descuento (BOD) in 2002, quickly rising through the ranks thanks to her performance in sales and team development.
She balanced her job with university studies in public accounting at the University of Zulia, graduating in 2010. During her tenure at Banco Occidental de Descuento (BOD), Mélida held key roles as a business advisor, service promoter, and assistant sales manager, excelling in staff training and credit portfolio management.
In 2016, she emigrated to the United States, starting her journey in the hospitality industry before joining Walmart, where she advanced from associate to administrative roles due to her dedication and organizational skills. Throughout her career, Mélida has consistently demonstrated exceptional adaptability, team leadership, and the ability to share knowledge in diverse settings.
